Have reached an age when driving is not a good option... were we to set up base in a couple of Southern towns like Killarney and Waterford, what's our best options between them and also to and from Airport?

I've flown into Dublin and Shannon previously, and will decide on an itinerary when we see what the train and bus options are, especially for the Waterford, Cork South-
