Hi -- I am leaving for Ireland tomorrow!!! I am going to be taking a 4-day Irish rail tour as part of my trip. In addition to my carry-on, I am bringing a latpop. Is there a secure place to store luggage on the tour? A few of the days I can leave my luggage/laptop at my hotel, but on the other days I will need to bring them with me. I am really hoping to not have to carry my laptop around with me all day...thanks for any help with this!!

Since you haven't had any answers yet, you might check with Irish Rail to see what the security arrangements are. Generally, trains don't have secure luggage areas, but I don't know if their are secured areas for while you are sightseeing. It would seem to me that if you can't leave it at the hotel, the only other alternative would be to carry it, as you already mentioned.
