Hello fellow travellers! Has anyone gone to "The Irish House Party" at Lansdowne House in Dublin? It is a night of Celic dancing and singing including dinner. If you've been to this or another event with Irish dancing in Dublin (besides the Arlington Hotel's Knightsbridge bar), please let me know your experience. Thank you. Stacy

We went to the Abbey Tavern in Howth, we ate our traditional Irish dinner with some Guinness, then watched the show with Irish dancers and "trad" music. Howth is on the DART just a bit north of Dublin.

I saw you posted this over a year ago and was wondering if you ever did go to this "Irish House Party" @ the Lansdowne House...It looks interesting and fairly inexpensive. Anyone else out there have any input on this event?
