i'm visiting ireland june 18-23 and am looking for recommendations, i've kind of sketched out some destinations and am looking for experienced folks to help me refine this--accomodations tips for 4 highly appreciated too. dublin, 18, 19, trim/meath (my mother was born here) 20, then dingle and cork, and back to dublin late on 22, and 23rd -husband flying out 6am on 23rd. Is it possible to do all this? what route would be best? Many thanks.

You won't have time to do both Dingle and Cork in two days (1 night). You might want to think about skipping Cork and driving straight to Dingle after Trim. It's nearly a 5 hr drive according to ViaMichelin, so probably more like 6+ once you factor in time for stops. Fortunately, it's a pretty direct route. Check www.viamichelin.com for route details from Trim to Dingle.

What a pity you haven't got an extra day. We did this trip last year. Broke the journey by staying overnight in Adare.
