Does $845.00 (I found a promo code online which knocked it down from $885) sound like a reasonable price for a 12 day automatic car rental in Ireland? That includes CDW and Super CDW insurance. The agency is Dan Dooley and I have Dublin as a pickup point and Shannon as a return point. I've searched and searched and read and read until my head is now spinning about renting cars in Ireland! I've received quotes from different agencies but most only include CDW insurance and then by the time I add Super CDW its about the same, or I can't find information on the exact cost of Super CDW. I am not comfortable with having such a high deductible by only having CDW. Thoughts on Dan Dooley as a rental company? And thoughts on the price quoted? Thanks in advance for any advice!

An automatic for 12 days with all insurance - sounds like a good price to me.

We rented from Dan Dooley (Dublin Airport) and the car was fine. Make sure that you have the employee show you how to turn on the lights, wipers, etc. Look the car over very carefully for bent wheels, missing or non-matching hubcaps. (have these things noted on the paperwork) We had a VW SUV for 5 people, we bought the zero deduct. insurance etc. After a hub cap rolled off and we picked it up and had a tyre center put it back on............we discovered that all the caps were held on with zip ties and only 1 was a VW cap others were from other cars. We got a laugh out of that.
But - bottom line Dan Dooley was fine and your price for 12 days sounds fine to me.

Rented with them three times and doing so again of October. We also picked up in Dublin and dropped off in Shannon once, we had dented a hubcap, it was not even replaceable, they didn't blink an eye. thought they had fine service. Enjoy trip.

If you find any damage at all when you pick up the car make that a note is made of it and take pictures and be sure.
