Ireland Rental Car

Will be renting a car for a week (pick up and return in Dublin. Understand full coverage is a must. What company would you suggest?

I would suggest going with the one that gives you the best deal. I often book as soon as I can, then keep watching for a better deal until my trip. Most car rental companies don't charge cancellation fees, so it's easy to keep comparing after you book. I have used Dan Dooley on one Ireland trip, then Irish Car Rentals on my subsequent three trips. But if I found a better deal with someone else, I would take it.

I agree with Nancy, get the best deal, but we had great service from Carhire3000. They are a broker, so you really don't know which rental company you will be dealing with until a month or so before you go. I had booked and paid, but like Nancy, I kept checking the price. Once I knew we were being supplied a car by Budget, I went to their site and found a local special, cheaper than what I had paid Carhire3000. I called them and they beat the local price and cheerfully refunded the difference on the spot. Very good people to deal with, I would use them again in a heartbeat.
