I am pondering a trip to either Ireland or Norway with a friend. My question is what the weather will be like in October in either place?
Norway will probably be colder than Ireland, but both will be fine for tourism. Depending on what part of Norway, some may have snow/ice but Oslo should not.
Are you on a really tight budget? While Ireland isn't cheap, the prices further north in places like Norway, Iceland, Sweden for everyday items, food & drink, are considerably higher. You may want to compare lodging, gasoline, sightseeing admissions, restaurant meal prices, etc. to help you make a decision if you are on a strict budget.
Thanks for your help. I have not looked into cost as of yet as I am still in the pondering stage.
