We learned there is a Bon Jovi concert June 15 at Slain castle, so there is essentially no room at the inn, or B&B or what have you!
We managed to find a room, but I wanted to warn anyone else hoping to stay in the valley north of Dublin that weekend.

Slane is a popular site for concerts in the summer. While the immediate Slane vicinity might be booked up, there are just so many B&Bs in the area that with a little advance planning, people should still be able to find something. Good heads up for those intending to visit the area, though.
