Ireland in November?

My 86 year old Mom wants to go back to Ireland. We thought it would be fun to spend our "Thanksgiving" week plus a few days in Ireland. We did the southern route last year and would like to see Dublin to the Cliffs and spend a night at Ashford Castle. Does anyone have experience in Ireland in late November? Are the towns decorated for Christmas yet? Thanks!

I was there several years ago at that exact time. How typical my experience was for that time of year would be anyone's guess, but here goes... The only place I saw any Christmas decorations was on Grafton Street in Dublin. Otherwise, the towns looked as they always do, or so I would imagine. The weather was typical of NW Europe at that time of year. Neither particularly cold or warm, with periodic intervals of light rain. Sunrise occured rather late, sundown early. Also like the rest of NW Europe, the same dull gray haze colored the countryside.
