You can easily buy one at the first site you visit. There is not really a need to buy one ahead. It is all pretty low key. You just sign your name in a spiral notebook abd they give you a card and you sign the back of it. Then at the next site you visit, you show the card and sign their book. It is definitely worth the price if you plan to visit several sites. Plus they give you a catalog type book with your pass that is helpful too. Another tip-- Cash only for payment, no credit cards.
