4 of us are in the planning stages for a trip to Ireland in 2010. We will probably fly into Dublin, rent a car, spend 2 nights traveling to the Dingle area, then staying for a week in Dingle and finishing up with 5 nights traveling back to Dublin.
Any suggestions on house rentals (self-catering) that might be on a farm? Both of the guys are Iowa farm boys and would love this experience. We would like to be close (less than 5 miles) from Dingle for the pub experiences there in the evenings.
Also, I have read great things about Dingle, but is a week too long? We will be seeing Glendalough, the Cliffs of Moher, Aran Islands and Connemara on our way to and from Dingle.

I think a week in Dingle is too long. I'd stay two nights to drive around the area. There are other towns you could stay in at least two nights each. Are you planning on flying out of Dublin or Shannon?
