Ireland at Christmas

Booked a flight to Dublin, and I am deciding where to spend the day before Christmas, Christmas Day and Boxing Day, as we leave Dublin the 27th at 1 p.m. back to the states. Truly we want to know if Dingle, Galway, Wexford, Dublin are better bets for these days in terms of food and drink these days.

Any help appreciated.

There are 4 30'ish adults.

Ireland is pretty well shut down on the three days you mentioned. Hotels of course are open but many pubs,restaurants,tourists sights etc. will be closed especially the 24th & 25th.
