I am hoping to travel to Ireland in 2012 with my 14 yr old granddaughter and thought staying in a farmhouse would be a good experience for her, can anyone suggest a website or where I could find out about farmhouses that rent out rooms for tourist?

At www.discoverireland.com you can look up "farmhouse B&Bs". There are many to choose from. We have stayed in farmhouse B&B's all over Ireland - a sheep farm with new lambs, a farm that trains jumping horses, a cattle farm, and one where the homeowner was a diviner, who showed the kids how to use his divining rods to find water.
