Ireland - 10 or 12 days, divided 3 or 4 ways?

I would like to return to Ireland and see the country in a more leisurely way. Last time I was there I was moving from place to place daily. I'm not a fan of constant packing and unpacking, so thought I would try to plan a trip in which I could stay in a few places and make day trips to see the important sights -- Dingle Peninsula, the Burren, Cliffs of Moher, Connemara, Rock of Cashel, Glendalough, Kinsale, plus as many other castles and cute villages as possible. Ideally I would do this trip in 10 or 12 days and spend two or three nights in each "base". I've been to Dublin and don't need to include it on this trip, unless it's more convenient to fly in or out of there. Thanks for any help!

So what is your question? Without knowing where you have already been it is hard to make suggestions. Will you be driving, taking buses?

Sorry - we will have a car. The question is how to divide up the area so that we will have a "base of operations" in each of several places, so we can settle in and make day trips to some of the sights I've mentioned. I don't want to pack up and move every day, or even every other day if it can be helped. Someone else has suggested Galway, Wexford, and Killarney as three possible locations from which to make day trips.
