Hi, Amy and I are thinking of taking the ferry from Rossaveel and spending the night on Inishmore. We don't want to be lugging all our luggage onto the ferry and the island. Has anybody left things in the trunk of their car in the ferry parking lot overnight? Any thoughts and suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

We flew over to Inishmore from Rossaveel and left our luggage in the trunk of our rental car at the airport. We were only staying over for one night, so we only took small packs to Inishmore. Whether it is perfectly safe or we were just lucky, I can't say. But it certainly made it a lot easier.

We just packed a small backpack and left everything else in the trunk of the car we parked in the Ferry parking lot. If you are taking a tour on the island there was a guy named Gabriel who lives on the island and full of info.
