Looking for a double room/studio apartment for two with cooking facilities for 4 nights in London. What places and/or booking companies have you used with good results? Thanks!

Not sure about the good results yet because we just booked with them, but we've just made a reservation through www.Holiday-Rentals.co.uk. The person we dealt with seemed reasonable and competent. We're keeping our fingers crossed, though.

You could see whether these people, London School of Economics, have any availability. Also Citadines, one of their locations is just off Trafalgar Square. TripAdvisor reviews for their properties are mixed

We have twice used Royal Court Apartments. Cheap (for London), well-situated (just north of Hyde Park) and nice surroundings as well as good apartments.
