Inexpensive place to stay in London (Bloomsbury)

I am planning a trip with my sister in May 2013 and I will be arriving 2-3 days early to see the sites in London. I would like to be close to Bloomsbury (British Museum, British Library), does anyone suggest a B&B in this area?

I will be staying at the Jesmond Dene Hotel in October. They have been very nice when I have needed information and have changed my room and dates on them 2 different time , hahaha. I am getting a superior twin ( I like my own bath) for 140 pounds a night. Right down from Library, and a nice park!!! Seems to have a lovely breakfast room . Comes with room. Also when you go on there web site have a site they will book tours for you to lots of different places !!!! One reason I am staying there. Trip advisor gave them current good reviews. BUT, I have not stayed there yet.

My mom and I will be there at the end of this month, and we're staying at the Morgan Hotel, which is right behind the British Museum on Bloomsbury St. We've got a twin room (two twin beds, ensuite) for 130 pounds/night, including a full breakfast. The location can't be beat, since we're about a two minute walk from the Tottenham Court Road tube stop (two different lines go through that station), a five minute walk from the Holborn tube stop (the Piccadilly line direct from Heathrow), and maybe a kilometer from the Oxford Circus tube stop, which we'll probably take from Paddington Station (I want to get our TravelCards through National Rail, so we'll take Heathrow Connect to Paddington and get the cards there).

Some that I have been researching for a trip are: Arran House Arofsa Hotel Jesmond Hotel
Celtic Hotel If you go to Google Maps and search for Gower Street London Hotels, it shows hotels in the area with links to their websites. Also search TripAdvisor for reviews.

Jesmond, Harlingford or Morgan Hotels. I'd also peruse the airbnb website as well. You can search by locale and price.

I have stayed at the Thanet Hotel on Bedford Place between Bloomsbury Sq and Russell Sq. and have a reservation for Aug for a single room for 90 gbp. It is family owned, a nice breakfast room, tea making things inthe room. The two rooms I have previously stayed in have been a decent size for 2 people. No lift, though. Once we were on the 5th floor, good we travel light! I have also stayed at the Morgan and it was fine. Didn't have the tea making things in the room though, and breakfast room is cramped in the basement. Bloomsbury is my favorite part of London, very homey, good restaurants, pubs, large grocery store nearby.
