Hi all! We're off to London in November, and I am dying to get my husband and I booked in to Gordon Ramsey's "The F Word" restaurant. I know it means filling out a loooooong questionnaire on the Beeb's website. And we might not even be in time for the new season's shooting schedule. My question is - has anybody done this? Is it a nice dining experience (as it looks on TV) or is it a long and grueling day of TV show shooting punctuated by disappointing food? Follow-up: if we can't get into the "F Word" restaurant, I hope to get a reservation at one of Ramsey's other restaurants. I am getting the feeling his places are over-priced and underwhelming, but am soliciting opinions here. Anyone eaten at a Ramsey restaurant lately? What did you think? Worth the price? Good food? Thanks!!!!!!
I want to know too! I love The F-Word reruns on American Beeb. My husband has a man crush on Gordo and I'm surprising him with an anniversary trip to London in December. I have friends who just got back and they loved The Savoy Grill and they are huge food snobs (thought French Laundry was so-so). I think that's where we will be going for dinner one night.
