If you had one sunny day in London, what would you see and do?

Just curious, for those of you who have visited the major London sites, if you had one beautiful sunny day and could see/do anything, which attraction(s) would be most worth visiting/seeing? Tower? Hampton Court? Eye? Walking tours? Something else?

I've had a lot of sunny beautiful days in London....walk thru the beautiful parks...St. James...Hyde Park/Kensington Gardens.....Holland Park....visit Kew Gardens...take a ride on the Thames.....Covent Gardens.....St. Paul's and go up to the Golden Gallery and see the spectacular panorama view of London great place to take pictures. You couldn'd go wrong with what ever you decide to do.

A wander in St. James Park... Hyde Park corner... a leisurely walk along the embankment... and then I'd stop in at a pub with outside seating and have a pint and savor the atmosphere. The Tower is wonderful but crowded, plus on a gorgeous sunny day, you would be inside. I've never been up in the Eye, but I'll bet it's spectacular on a lovely day. Hampton Court, again, is mostly an inside experience, except for the gardens. And they are beautiful! Ooh - Hampstead Heath! Ramble and soak up the sun, then duck into a nice pub like the Bull & Last or the Spaniard's Inn. Great way to spend a sunny day!

A sunny day in London. First choice would be the river- preferably in a small boat going inland away from the City, pass all the crazy people dangling worms in the water at the end of a pole, stop at a riverside pub for lunch. (In fact that is even fun on a rainy day). Walk along the Embankment Kew Gardens or the parks- Hampstead, Primrose Hill, St James, Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park; catch a crivket match in Holland Park. Walk along the River at Chiswick and its riverside pubs

Boat ride for sure, from Westminster to the Tower, maybe walk back along the south bank. Or a boat to Greenwich, or up the river somewhere.

Definitely the river. Walk along the south bank, take a river tour to Greenwich, etc. We enjoyed a tour of Westminster Abbey while it was sunny outside. We also went to the Saturday Portobello Road antiques market on a sunny warm day. That was super, we'll do it again regardless of the weather.

Go up in the London Eye and then take the Tate to Tate boat ride. Wander around Westminster & Hyde Park. Enjoy your beautiful sunny day, we had many in London this May!

Sunny, Laura, is what you get between the showers in that uniquely British concept of "Sunshine and Showers". Today, in the East Midlands, it has been bright sunshine interspersed with absolute stair-rods. (Stair-rods is British for what we used to call in Texas a "Gully-Warsher").

Laura You did notice the question was "IF", not "WHEN" It has been known to happen
