My parents and I are taking our second trip to Europe and will be flying Iceandair and will be landing in Reykjavik. We want to spend 3 days in Iceland, what is there to do and see in Iceland for 3 days? Thanks!

It will depend on the month you are there. During the warmer season there are several interesting organized tours. Some people rent cars and head out to these same sights on their own. Reykjavik has museums, shops, and historical sights. Of course everyone suggests a stop at the Blue Lagoon on the way to or from the airport. Everything can be previewed on line.

Hi Brendon, A friend and I, in our 60s, spent almost 3 weeks in Iceland in Aug. '09 - B.V.! with 3 days in Reykjavik before and after our drive all around the island. Lots to walk and see and EAT and do right in Reykjavik. Plus, of course, bus trips/tours to sites close by - the Golden Circle, Blue Lagoon, etc. Wonderful people, "interesting" language - a very positive trip. Enjoy,
