We're staying one night at Ibis Heathrow before our early morning flight back to USA in May. Can someone tell me exactly how to get there from Paddington Station? And what's the easiest and cheapest way to get to airport in the AM? I've emailed the hotel with the question but so far no response.

I'll be staying at the Ibis Heathrow in May. My favorite way to get there from Paddington is to take the Heathrow Connect train from Paddington to LHR, then take the Hoppa bus to the hotel from there. The Heathrow Express train is faster and more expensive.

If you don't have too much luggage, take any train from Paddington to Hayes and Harlington station and catch the 140 bus to Harlington Corner and walk along the Bath Road. You save on not having to pay the fare in the tunnel to Heathrow and the hoppa - but have a bit of a walk and need to take the stairs to steet level at Hayes too. Cheapest way into Heathrow in the morning would be any of the local buses to Heathrow that go along the Bath Road as they are free.
