I and a friend from work are planning a trip to Ireland in the Spring of 2010. I need info on best places to stay, places to visit, I do have 2 castles I want to visit which are BallyGally and Carickfergus, other than that my 2 weeks are free, anyone care to help. Thanks

Charleen, I recommend you buy Rick Steves's Ireland 2008 and rely on his recommendations.

Charleen, I'd also suggest using Rick's "Ireland" guidebook, as there are not only lots of choices for lodgings there, but also lots of great sightseeing ideas.
One point to clarify though- are you planning to limit your trip just to the North, or would you have time for a short visit to Dublin or other areas as well? Dublin is amazing (especially the Temple Bar area!).
