Hurtigruten (Daft question)

I've searched every corner of their website to find my answer but with no luck; can one buy a ticket just from one port to another as I could only find either excursions or voyages.

I know it's a bit of a daft question, but in my ever changing itinerary the overnight ferry now seems my best option between Bergen and Alesund

Thanks,

Alan

Alan, It shouldn't be a problem. In July of 2008 I purchased a ticket from "Bergen to Trondheim" in Bergen two days before sailing. Wonderful experience. The fjords were like glass, the scenery off the nautical chart. Enjoy!

Where-How do you buy these tickets? I have not been able to track that information down for our trip. We have almost totally eliminated this mode of transportation for our trip in Aug.

Hurtigruten has an office in the US. I have spoken by phone and e-mail with their reps here. Just check their web-site.

You can also fly SAS. We did in 2008. It is a common route since the 45 minute flight replaces an 11-hour drive. Our 727 was completely full.
