I would like to bypass the Ring of Kerry and drive the quickest way from Kinsale to Dingle. Does anyone know how long in time and distance? Thank you!

ViaMichelin shows it at 2 hrs, 37 min, but I'd add another 30 minutes at least to that estimate. You can see the route and distance here:

Jill, when we made the drive (going from Dingle to Kinsale) we cut over on R 561 from Anascaul to meet the N 22 at Farranfore, but I'm nto sure if that saved us time. We made a stop for lunch on the way, took our time in general and it took us about 4.5 hours.
