hotels in Belgravia /Vic Station

Luna Simone was pretty good. Smaller rooms, and a number of stairs, but good service and a nice breakfast each morning. For a meal around victoria station though, I highly recommend the ham sandwhich at the Marquis of Westminster. one of the best sandwiches i have ever had.

I have stayed at both and I have to say, I am not a big fan of The Lime Tree Hotel. I thought the staff was unremarkable and the breakfast sparse. I think the hotel has lost its charm. Stay at the other recommendation. Or try The Rubens at the Palace. On Buckingham Palace Road - great location and I have heard good reviews. Good luck!

I have stayed at Cartref House (on Ebury, the same street as Lime Tree) for the past three summers and I absolutely love the family who runs the place. I'm usually traveling solo, so it's important to me to feel comfortable and safe and I have had no issues at all at Cartref. I would be there again this summer except for the fact that I want to avoid the Olympics hoopla!
