I need a cheap, but nice, hotel by LHR for a one (1) night stay..suggestions please.

Why not stay in Heathrow at a hotel you pay for by the hour:

I like Heathrow Lodge. They had a free shuttle to/from LHR when I stayed there a couple of years ago.

We stayed at the Premier Travel Inn and found it very nice and reasonable in 2006.

We loved staying at Jurys Inn Heathrow -- great price, unbelievably quiet, and so nice. Even the food was good. If you stay on a weekend night, it is usually even cheaper.
