We stayed at the Rembrandt last month. It's a fine hotel, right across the street from the V&A Museum. Perhaps it will fit your budget.

According to your other post, aren't you staying in an apartment?

Base2Stay, great hotel, every room has a small mini kitchenette so you can microwave up some take out,etc which can save you lots of money on meals I loved it and just down the street from it the Premier Inn Kensignton, haven't stayed there but its got a great location and apparently a good reputation.
