Hello,
I'll be doing a few days road trip in Ireland with a friend of mine and we're looking for recommendations for a decently priced (125Euros or less for the night) (and sort of local flavour) B&B or hotel in Dingle area, midweek. Suggestions are very welcome! :-)
Gabrielle, I stayed at This Guesthouse on my last visit to Dingle, and would definitely recommend it. It's within easy walking distance to the town, the owners are really nice and I believe the prices fit your criteria. Parking is also provided. Dingle is one of my favourite places in Ireland! Great place for Pubs and local music (hope you like Guinness)! Happy travels!
You'll be overrun with recommendations. We stayed at the Lighthouse. We had a wonderful room, breakfasts were great but it was a 15 minute walk to the main drag pubs. On a return visit I'd probably get one near the city center (such as it is). If you and your friend are wanting to hit the pubs, Murphy's has rooms above the bar. I've heard the rooms are nice but I suspect you'll be up until the pub closes unless you are a sound sleeper.
We also stayed at the Lighthouse, wonderful and private car park. However, do agree with previous poster is that is 15 minute uphill walk from town and at night there are no lights and no sidewalks so would probably recommend something in town.
