We are taking the Flaggruten boat from Bergen to Stavanger in July. It leaves from Bergen at 7:30 A.M. so I want to stay very close to the dock or terminal where it departs. Can anyone tell me where in Bergen this boat departs from? (Is it near the fish market?) Also, can anyone recommend a good hotel that is very near the boat terminal or dock?

If my memory is holding up, it departs from here (there are a bunch of different ferry terminals scattered around the city):

The closest hotel within walking distance would be the Thon Hotel at Bradbenken 3.
