Has anyone stayed at the George Hotel near Euston Station? Any feedback? Also, what location do you think is best between Lancaster Gate and Euston Station? For proximity to London sights and neighbour hood pubs....I will not be using the Eurostar.

Have not stayed there. Not sure what your asking re: "what location do you think is best between Lancaster Gate and Euston? Marylebone and Bloomsbury neighborhoods are fine.
Personally I'd check out the Vancouver Studio Apartments in Bayswater. Closer to Paddington than Euston. Stayed there 3 times over the years. Always pleased. Nice neighborhood pub two blocks away. Vibrant neighborhood with cafes, shops, mall, grocery stores, Boots, and 2 tube stations to choose from. Not to mention Hyde Park is close. BTW is Robin's still turning out lovely food in Cambria?
