We have a one night layover in London on the way home from Europe. Any hotel suggestions? We don't need anything fancy, it's only for sleeping, since we'll be exploring London the whole day.
Thanks!
Not sure when you are going, but during summer months up through late September, Northumberland House at London School of Economics books rooms for travelers. Very clean, private bathrooms, not too expensive and the location is excellent - one block to Trafalgar Square - within walking distance of many museums, Theatre District, Big Ben/Parliment, St. Paul's and just across the river from London Eye.
Hi Fran,
Haven't stayed there yet but just discovered Yotel at the airport...you might want to be there...looks cool. You might get it at Yotel.com both at Gatwick and Heathrow.
Mollie
I have a 1 nighter in June and booked my hotel at hotwire.com. Got a 3 1/2 star room for $89 + tax and it ended up being a sheraton.
Give hotwire a try!
