I have written the Continental Hotel in Harwich (Cruise ship Port) for a reservation next June and have not heard from them(3days). I then thought I would book on line and did so until the end when their site asked for payment now. I was a bit miffed. This is our 5th trip to Europe and I have done all our bookings and never once has anyone asked for immediate payment. Previously hotels have asked for me Visa # which is fine.
Has this happened to anyone before?

Maybe it's because June 2014 is so far off. Why don't you give the hotel a phone call?
