Does anyone have a favorite hotel or bb in Bath? Or perhaps a do not stay warning?
Here is where we stayed last summer. We found the location reasonable--a few minutes walk from the central tourist section of Bath, the breakfast room overlooks a charming, well-kept garden, and there is parking available offstreet.

Three Abbey Green is wonderful: centrally located, charming, nice, clean rooms, personal service.
I like the Henry; it's close to the train and bus. The owners are great, the breakfasts are good and plenty, and the place has character (with stairs). I usually avoid stairs, but there aren't too many at the Henry.
Check out Meadowland B&B in Bloomfield Park - a very nice place in a quiet location.
I loved Oldfields Inn. It is within walking distance to the city center. Friendly staff, scrumptous breakfast. The moment we arrived, we were greeted with yummy tea and goodies. Clean and spacious rooms! The only downfall is if you are driving, the car park is very small!!!
