My husband and I will be spending 5 nites in Dublin next August. Does anyone have a recommendation for a place to stay (good location - ensuite - up to $150/nite)? Thanks.

I am a huge fan of Sheridan Rooms. Just outside city center near Leith. Easy trip in on well serviced bus about 10 minutes. Tom and Rowena are top notch

Sharon - My apologies I gave you an Edinburgh rec for Dublin.
If it helps in Dublin we did Jury's Inn just off of O'Connell St. We got a rate of 60 Euro / Nite for that. It was nice.

Trinity College has ensuite rooms for tourists in August in your price range. Continental breakfast included in the rate or pay extra for a full hot breakfast. Can't get a better or more central location.
Grafton House on Great George's Street sometimes has specials on their rooms. Full Irish breakfast included in rate. Good location to walk to Dublin Castle, Trinity College, Temple Bar, etc.

My wife and I stayed at Ophira House in Dun Laoghaire (Dun Leary) this past May. It is a 15 minute train ride into Dublin. John and Cathy were wonderful hosts.
