Help! I need a hostel/budget hotel that is close to Victoria station the night before we fly out. Nothing fancy, just clean and cheap. 2 young teachers traveling. Thanks for the help. :)

There a numerous places close to Victoria. Try http://www.findlondonhotel.com/#Victoria%20Area. Warning, I'd check TripAdvisor to see what people who stayed there experienced. We stayed in one of the lower cost hotels about 5 minutes walk from Victoria but I wouldn't recommend it. Sometimes cheap means just that; sometimes it means affordable. Also, depending on the time of your flight, you might want to look in th Gatwick area. There are some affordable choices out there that give you an easy transfer when it's tiime to go. Good luck.
