We liked the big red busses in Paris very much, that made a circuit of the main tourist sites. We will be in London 10 days, and see that there is more than one "big red bus" or other colored equivalent. Which is best suited to 2-70+ year old people?

The buses have different routes. You want to make sure you get on a bus that goes the route you want to go. Otherwise, you can end up going around and around the outer perimeters of the city FOREVER. We have taken the Red bus and the hop-on, hop-off buses.
