Anyone been to the Hootenanny in Inverness? We will be there next Tuesday and were wondering what people actually thought about it.

I've been and it's great. There are a couple of venues on the site. They serve pub food and have live music. I've generally heard traditional music, but I think upstairs is more of a club. I enjoyed it and would go again. Pam

We went there a couple of years ago. Not impressed. We liked the food and the entertainment at Johnny Fox's a lot better. In fact, we liked it so much we went back 3 different times. Every time was a different type of music, but the musicians were great. On Sat. night, there was an after the wedding party there, with the bride and groom. Wonderful time and loved watching the newly weds. Get a seat, as you face the fireplace, to the right. That way, you are out of the way, but can see the dance floor and the musicians.
