We will be landing at Dover on May 29th in the morning, and will be flying out of Heathrow on May 30th. We have recently been to London, Hampton Court and Windsor, and wondered if there was any place to see that would be on a train line between Dover and Heathrow, as we will not have a car.

Dover Castle, it is amazing, tons to see, we spent almost the whole day wandering around it, there is the tunnels from world war two to see, it is beautiful there, don't miss it!

Consider taking a slightly longer route to London and go to Canterbury.....magnificent cathedral... great ruins of the Norman castle built there...the old Roman walls.,..and a fine center of town to explore.

I second both Dover castle and Canterbury. They are great places to visit as day trips.
