Highlands Itinerary - Plan B

To review: family of 4 with 15 & 12 year old teens driving in Scotland after a week in England.
Friday night-Sunday: Edinburgh
Monday: Pick up car rental and drive to Clyde Falls area to see family castle (same surname, don't know if there are actual blood ties). We don't feel the need to spend a lot of time here. Drive past Glasgow to spend the night closer to start of Highlands trip. Could we get to Loch Lomond? Any recommendations on a B&B?
Tuesday: Drive to Oban via Loch Lomond, Rannoch Moor, Glencoe Pass. Spend time in Glencoe at visitor's centre & take a short hike. Sleep in Oban.
Wednesday: 3 Isles Early Bird Tour of Mull, Iona & Fingal's Cave (7:45-17:45). Sleep in Oban.
Thursday: Drive to Inverness via: Fort William & Glenfinnan Viaduct (for the HPotter fans), Fort Augustus (quick stop at Canal Heritage Centre for the transportation fans), Drumnadrochit (Loch Ness Centre & Urquhart Castle), Inverness (Culloden Battlefield and, if time, Clava Cairns). Return car & take night train to London, departing 20:40.
Will that work? Any recommendations? Thanks, everyone!

Hi Kathy,
I haven't been there yet, but I think your plan sounds pretty good. It seems like you have a lot to do, but some days where you have time to just enjoy! Hopefully some more seasoned Scotland travelers will help you out a bit more than I can.

Kathy: Everyone wrote in to help you with your first itinerary; then you made changes based on their advice; and I just wanted to say that in comparing the two itineraries it's evident that you considered the advice given re the 1st itinerary and made changes to get your trip more the way you wanted it to be. It's good we were able to help. For a B&B "past Glasgow", have you tried the viamichelin.com site, checking the hotel box, inputting the name of a nearby town, and then Searching?
