Is Highclere,dowton abbey, worth the detour driving from London to bath?
If you are taking the M4 motorway then it's only about 10 miles south of Junction 13, so not much of a detour. However, according to the Highclere website, tickets for summer 2013 are now sold out and they only have a few walk-up tickets available.
