hidden gems in Copenhagen?

Hi, I'm visiting a friend in Copenhagen for a week soon. She has lived in Copenhagen for about two years, and probably knows most of what the city has to offer by now. I'm wondering if anyone can give recommendations on unusual/cool places to visit. Any ideas for romantic places to take her would be greatly appreciated, too!

Thanks!

The Viking Ship Museum, about a half hour west, is about as romantic as you can get. Well, maybe not, but it's the best of its kind in the world.

Park near Copenhagen Business School. If you Google the school and click on the web site's map, you'll see Frederiksberg Have nearby. There are quiet walking/running paths, an island where the trees were filled with dozens of nesting birds (they looked like Great Blue Herons), and a tree in another part of the park that was literally covered with pacifiers, many with notes attached. Check out the map -- it's a very nice area.

They are Grey Herons. The Great Blue Heron does not live in Europe, (and the Grey Heron does not live in North America). But they look quite similar. Frederiksberg Have is a wonderful place, I can also recommend. It is possible to rent small rowing boats on the lakes in the park.

Not sure if you like art (and it's probably not romantic - I've lost track of that), but Ordupgaard Art Museum is a bit north of Copenhagen by train, and they've got excellent paintings - many impressionists.

I am going to plump for a trip to Roskilde to see the Cathedral. The Viking Ship Museum rocks, but the cathedral is... woof. Great stuff. The Danes have been burying their royalty here since the middle ages, and they have decorated the joint with Gothic flair - death's heads and skulls and wonderful creepiness, which I consider quite romantic. It's a UNESCO World Heritage site for a reason. If I were taken to an evensong service there, I would consider it quite romantic!

Also, I am assuming she's familiar with Freetown Christiania? Wonderful place to visit. It's the very definition of FUNKY. And ARTSY.
