This is such a great helpline! By reading through, I have already had some other questions answered. But I don't think this one has been covered: The last time I was in England I bought a Great British Heritage Pass and used it a lot. Since that has been recently discontinued, what is the best option to replace it, and can I get a list of the places that it covers?
Thanks for any help!
There are two main heritage organisations ie the National Trust and English Heritage. They have passes which give free entry to all their properties and in the case of English Heritage discounts at other properties. The National Trust has a cheaper 7 or 14 day overseas visitor pass. http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/holidays/tours-and-overseas/view-page/item369957/ http://www.english-heritage.org.uk/support-us/join/ If you already belong to the Royal Oak Foundation in the USA you will get free access to National Trust properties.
