Help! Trying to figure out how to get to Swords, Dublin from the Ferry !

Hey everybody!
Hope I get some responses...I'm taking a trip to the Isles in Jan/Feb, and I've got my travel within England/Scotland/Wales figured out (Britrail), but I'm ferrying over to Ireland from Holyhead (Dublin Ferryport, not Dun Laoghaire)...So my dilemma is, our Bed and Breakfast is in Swords, not too far from Malahide, just north of the City Centre, and I know there's a DART that runs to Malahide. So far I've figured out Bus 53 will take me from the Ferry port to Busaras station, but terminates there. I was told that from here I would need to take the LUAS red line to Connolly station, and from there take the DART to Malahide...and then figure out if there may be buses able to take me from Malahide to the B&B. Does anybody know if there's an easier way to do this, or does this seem to be the best/only way? Has anybody else ever taken this route before?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I have not checked on this but does Aer Arann fly from Cardiff to Dublin. It would certainly put you very close to your B&B and take much less time.

Busaras and Connolly station are practically next to each other so you would have no need to take the Luas,you can easily walk from one to the other.

We stayed at a B&B in Swords in Oct 2006, during our last night in Ireland. We were told that there was good bus service from our B&B to DUB airport, as well as downtown. We, however had a rental car, and returned it to the airport in the early morning. It was only about a 10 minute drive (during morning rush hour). I believe that Swords is very close on the north side, and if you can get from the ferry to the airport by bus, you should be able to get from the airport to your B&B in Swords. Our hostess at the B&B was very helpful with directions to the airport, and it may be advisable to contact your B&B for some advice.

According to www.dublinbus.ie, bus 102 goes from the Sutton DART station to Dublin airport with Malahide and Swords as two of its stops. However, the Web site doesn't specify exactly where the stop is in Malahide so I don't know if it's at the DART station.
