We are 4 friends (in early 60s) who meet up and travel to a different place every year. Somehow cannot seem to arrive at viable program of self-drive and nutshell combo for 6 nights. Take the nutshell train from Oslo to Bergen - what are the timinings - need we book ahead? Can we hire a car from Bergen - connect to the Flam/Myrdal rail as well as get a boatride on the fjords? Are we missing out on something. Please help plan this trip - read the Daily Planet and checked other websites - but cannot seem to construct a viable program - looking forward to suggestions.
