What is the easiest and most efficient way to get to Oxford from London-Heathrow? Can we take a direct train? Or a bus? Or will it be easiest (and cheapest) to take the train from the airport to London and then a second train from London to Oxford? Thank you!
The Oxford Bus Company has direct service every 30 minutes from Heathrow to Oxford. Go here and click on "theairline" link. There are no direct trains.
Thank you! I did not assume there was a train, but the bus sounds perfect. It will save us some time not to go into London just to leave again.
It's not as bad as many rail journeys from Heathrow as the trains to Oxford leave from the same station (Paddington) as the Heathrow Express uses, but the direct bus will be cheaper and probably more convenient.
