Has anyone traveled directly from Heathrow to Chartwell House in Kent? If so, what was the easiest/fastest route?

Take Train to Victoria Station then take another train to Seven Oaks...then bus or taxi 15 mins to Chartwell. This was from a Travel Advisor Tip.

Not sure if you want to drive? We get a rental car at Heathrow and then drive the ring road to the south. Pretty easy to get there.

Any idea how long the public transport would take? We will be on a time crunch. Renting a car is a bit too daunting as of yet. Perhaps with more time and less anxiety about driving on the left (and in heavy traffic) it would be an option.

About 2.5 hours. You can only get within about half a mile by public transport (Southdown PSV Bus 236).
