Heathrow hotel?

It's so easy to get to Heathrow from central London that many people see no reason to sleep at Heathrow. But if that is what you need, Rick's only suggestion (in his 2005 book) was the budget accomodation Heathrow Ibis, www.ibishotel.com

I stayed one night at a Sheraton near Heathrow. It was a bit pricier than I wanted, and unfortunately, they nickel-and-dimed you for just about everying, including internet and airport shuttle services. Nice hotel, though.

I'd second the recommendation for the Ibis hotels. There is shuttle service from Heathrow, too.

We stayed at the Premier Travel Inn. Under 100 pounds sterling for one night. The Hoppa bus stops right at their door and brings you to the Heathrow Terminals (4 pounds per adult, children free)
