Paris (Orly) to Heathrow, land at 08:45 at Terminal 5. Heathrow to Chicago connecting flight at 10:15 at Terminal 3. No mobility/luggage issues/2 adults. U.S. citizens heading home from Paris vacation, so we're just connecting. Does this look like a reasonable connecting time? I'm concerned as I don't know if we collect our luggage, take it with us as we travel from terminal 5 to 3 , recheck it and go back through security before finding our gate? That sounds tight!
The Heathrow Airport website gives an estimate of 90 minutes "minimum connection time" for your itinerary. You don't have to retrieve your checked luggage if you're on a single ticket. Your bags will have been checked through to Chicago. www.heathrowairport.com Click on "airport information" and then on "flight connections."
That's great to know thatwe won't have to collect, carry, and recheck luggage!
Heathrow's web site is pretty good. (http://www.heathrowairport.com/) Click on "Flight information" on the top menu bar, then on "Flight Connections in the lefthand column.
