I have been to London twice already and have seen alot of the major "attractions" including the British Museum.
I am going again in the fall and am planning on visiting some of the smaller "attractions" this time and was wondering about the Pollocks Toy Museum near Charing Cross. Has anyone gone?
Its a nominal entry fee so its not a matter of money, but was it worth the time to seek it out?
Tami, if you google it, you'll find lots of reviews by delighted visitors. I'd never heard of it but now I also plan to go there. Would love to hear if you liked it.
Yea Maggie, humble and pokey are my middle name. lol. I love silly tihngs like that.
I went there a few years ago. It's quite unusual and interesting. My over-riding memory of it was that it was a bit cluttered and pokey, but IMHO that gave it a great atmosphere. It was very odd to see some toys from my childhood in there.
i highly reccomend the Geffrey museum ( free as I recall) another small mueseum for your concideration as is the museum of childhood in same area as Geffrey .
Thanks John! I will check that out.
