Harry Potter Warner Studio Tour

Going to Warner Bros. Studio Tour in late June. Debating just how to do it, either by taking the train and then bus to the studio or doing the Golden Tour which provides transportation as well as admission. We have allotted most of the day for this. Anyone with experience?

Yes just did it last month and it was one of the highlights of our trip! We did it on our own. In fact, the website gives good instructions on how to do it. We took the tube to Euston Station. It got a bit confusing there but there are information booths. Dont buy the tickets at the machine, instead, go buy it at the manned ticket counter. The fare was £9.90 but when I told the we were a party of 4, they said we qualifiednfor a 2 for 1 discount so I only paid 19.90 for 4 round trip tickets. Not sure how oftenthis deal is presented but we got the same deal as well when we took the train to Windsor. Anyway, when arrived at Watford Junction, the Knight Bus was there waiting for us. We paid the driver our fare and off we went! This was definitely alot cheaper than taking the Golden tour. PM me if you have any other questions. Our check in time was 11 and we got there around 1145 but we had no problems getting in. Its mostly a self tour and we stayed about 4 1/2 hours.

We did it on our own, following the instructions on the website. Our friends, who were in London the same week in December, did the tour and were disappointed by the poor service and expense. They ended up taking the studio bus and train back. It is not difficult to do on your own if you leave enough time for your connections. We found the people at Euston to be very helpful and the studio bus was waiting for us when we arrived at Watford Junction. One of the highlights of our many trips to London.

Also did it ourselves, also really enjoyed it. It's very easy by train, and much cheaper. We spent at least 3 hours there, if not a bit more.

Thanks for help. We are going to do it ourselves, however, not at the day or time we wanted. Booked this morning for a month from today and found all time slots before 1:30pm already taken. So a word of warning BOOK EARLY if timing important. Moved to another day and found a noon slot. Thanks again.
